The Story
The Superhuman Guide to Thriving is a practical, actionable set of steps for leading a business through challenging times.
Louisa Heinrich has been working in the digital world almost as long as there has been such a thing. Since 1997, she and her teams have delivered some big internet ‘firsts’ - online banking, tax filing, car configuration and catch-up TV, to name a few.
But Louisa's greatest challenge came in 2021, when she was diagnosed with Stage IV Colorectal Cancer and given roughly 2 years to live. This news brought everything in her life to a standstill - and then she got to work on finding a way to survive. Today, she has already outlived the predictions of world-renowned experts and remains, rather obstinately, not dead yet.
Cancer has helped clarify a lot of ‘whats’ and ‘whys’ of Louisa’s life. As she researched, strategised and navigated her cancer journey, Louisa saw many parallels between her challenges and those of the businesses she's worked with over the past 27 years, which led to new insights on managing both - and making change happen quickly. Her new talk brings five lessons "from Cancerland" that will help your business thrive through whatever challenges you may face.
This guide will help you find a path to keep your business healthy through difficult - even impossibly challenging - times. It is a story told with humour and passion by a master storyteller and strategist.
